We’ve heard the Android Wear smartwatch is set to hit the shelves for the first time in February with a slew of new discounts on some of the best apps available.
The first wave of discounts is for a range of fitness apps including MyFitnessPal, Fitocracy, Strava and the popular Running Dynamics app.
These discounts will only be available for Android Wear devices and there are no iOS apps currently available for purchase.
Android Wear apps are currently limited to iOS devices, however Apple is working to release iOS versions of the apps.
The full list of Android Wear app discounts are below:Android Wear app – $1.99, FitWish – $9.99 and Stravam – $29.99Android Wear fitness membership – $19.99 for 2 months, $19 for 6 months, or $29 for 12 months.
Android Wear fitness club membership – free membership for up to 3 users.
Android Wear subscription – $99 for one year, $199 for three years, $299 for four years, or for $1,999 for 12 years.
Android Pay – $0.99/day for 10% off all purchases.
Android watch app – Free subscription for one month for up a maximum of $15.
Android smartwatch – Free membership for one calendar month.
Android tablet – Free 30-day trial of Android Pay.
Google has previously said it’s working on a range to bring fitness membership benefits in to Android Wear, including a fitness club subscription.
The first batch of discounts are only available on Android watches and Android tablets, however it seems it’s the Android watch that will be receiving the most.
