Posted March 29, 2019 08:03:01 In today’s fast-paced world, it can be easy to overlook the benefits of a good haircut.
However, a new study has revealed that a little bit of style is often all it takes to make a football player look and feel great.
The study, conducted by the Australian Football Association and published in the latest issue of the journal Frontiers in Psychology, shows that a good shave is a must for footballers who are looking to improve their performance and the way they look at the game.
“In our study, we found that football players who have the most skin, the best facial hair, and the most facial hair on the face (with no facial hair below the chin) had the most improvements in performance,” study co-author Dr Tim Whelan told ABC News.
“This is a big finding because it shows that, in general, facial hair is a great way to enhance athletic performance.”
But it’s important to realise that if you’re doing something like a facial hair cut, it’s not just about what it looks like.
It’s also about the impact it has on your overall performance.
“Whelan, a biomechanical and biomechanics professor at the University of New South Wales, says facial hair also plays a big role in helping players to recover from injury and perform better at the next level.”
Our study found that a lot of sports athletes tend to have very small facial hair,” Whelin said.”
They’re usually very straight, and you might see them with very little hair at the end of their hairline, and that’s really important to look at because that’s the area of their face that they’ll be most comfortable with.””
And if they have some skin around their mouth or nose that’s a lot less likely to show up and be visible when they’re doing physical activity.
So, those are the areas where you can see how the facial hair can really help them.
“It also means a lot more footballers are using grooming products to get the most out of their facial hair.”
We also found that, as well as shaving your face, there’s a wide variety of products available,” Wharan said.
The research was conducted in response to a request from the AFL.
The team at the Australian Sports Performance Institute studied the facial features of 488 Australian football players aged between 15 and 21.
And it’s clear from the results that there are people who are really keen to get that right, who want to look good for their team and who want that look to be reflected in their performance.””
We looked at facial hair and our participants showed improvements in their overall performance as well,” Wheran said.
